Accommodation: The Cozy

A charming cottage with two bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. The Cosy is in a secure and private position close to the farmstead. The colonial style cottage with its 1930s furnishings and bric-a-brac invokes a refined era when tea was sipped from delicate china and sherry poured from glass decanters.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave and electric stove. The spacious open-plan lounge/dining/kitchen area has an elegant ambience and the appeal of an open fireplace. There are two large and comfortable en-suite double bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed, and one with 2x three quarter beds: both have quality linen and period furnishings. It accommodates four guests in comfort and is ideal family accommodation or for two couples sharing. The Cosy is wheel-chair friendly with a ramp accessing the front door from the parking area and a roll in shower bathroom equipped with a seat and grab-handles and all doorways are extra width. The long covered veranda festooned with rambling roses overlooks a cottage garden with a bubbling water fountain and views over the water. Barbeque here as the fireflies dance to the frogs’ chorus!

“Simply, one of the best venues I have stayed at that is wheelchair friendly. I will absolutely go back there again in the near future. Superb..... totally underrated.“ Suzie Belford. October 2009.
