delightful surprise awaits as you crest the
hill and the panorama of Waterfall
Mountain Lodge unfolds. A wood
and stone chalet is perched on a rise overlooking
a secluded amphitheatre with views across
a valley to the waterfall. Four weired dams
are stocked with trout and a kilometre stretch
of Dorps River adds to the fishing options.
A well maintained path winds along the dams
and stream to the waterfall cascading over
the escarpment into a shady pool, perfect
for skinny dipping!
A
two hole golf driving range is good for practising
those tricky shots in private. Hiking on the
neighbouring farms is permitted as the facilities
are shared were possible.
The
cottage has three comfortable double bedrooms,
two with queen beds and one with twin beds.
Both bathrooms have showers and bidets. The
sitting/dining room has a cosy fireplace and
TV. The adjoining kitchen/scullery is generously
equipped.
Waterfall
Mountain Lodge is the ideal
spot for a quiet, romantic breakaway, a boy’s
week end or a carefree family get together.
Waterfall
Mountain Lodge is also dog heaven
with 130 hectares of open veld to run free,
mountains to climb and water for paddling.
